This time it's the turn of 15 previously unreleased tracks, all of which were recorded between 1978 and 1981 and intended for use in for film, television or radio. As the title clearly suggests, "Music for Strange Situations" weaves a tapestry of unusual and eccentric soundscapes. The collection includes dynamic funk tracks with an urban setting ("Walking in the City"; "Driving Fast"; "Chasing Beat"), sophisticated Afro-disco grooves ("Don't Stop The Love"), sensual disco-infused gems ("Blue Wampire"), and whimsical, relaxed funk with a carefree vibe ("Sunny Day", "Puff"; "Fantasy").
